I needed my steel bank barn painted and had called several local contractors who never bothered to return my call. Fortunately, Zeiset was referred to me by a local business owner. Even though they are located in Chambersburg, PA and I am in Mt. Airy, MD (about 70 miles away), my call was responded to quickly. Leon Zeiset, one of the owners, came to the house to obtain the project scope so as to prepare the estimate; he arrived on the day/time promised. Shortly thereafter, Danton Zeiset, an owner and the project manager, emailed the quote which correctly reflected the scope and was at an excellent price. The projected start date was not more than a couple weeks out. The only delays in the project were caused by us or the weather - I changed my mind on paint color & paint type and did not want any work done if I was out of town (just a personal policy of mine). But once those obstacles were resolved, Zeiset arrived on the day/time promised and finished on the day promised. The Zeiset crew were professional and respectful of property (not a drop of paint was left where it wasn't suppose to be). There were only minor touch ups required which were taken care of without attitude or issue. I had asked for some additional work to be done and had decided not to do some of the quoted work. Danton adjusted the final bill in my favor which was a pleasant surprise.
I have used Zeiset Painting & Tree Services twice, and was extremely pleased with the results both times. Back in the Spring, I was looking for a contractor to paint the roof of my home. The house is over 200 years old, and I'm very particular in it's upkeep. A local nursery recommended Zeiset to me, and I was very happy with the way the roof turned out. Just recently, I had some very large water maples worked on. The trees look GREAT! I was most impressed with the workmanship throughout, & professional nature of the staff. Fantastic job!
