I am a Marriott gold member and former Marriott employee and this is the second time I’ve stayed at this Fairfield Inn, and it will be my last. If you are used to Marriotts quality and friendly staff you will not find it here. As I left this morning only one very nice housekeeping staff even said good morning. The front desk staff sitting in there chairs could not be bothered to get up and greet a guest. They could not even bother to tell me the elevator was broken. This was the same affective behavior I received on our last visit, but we decided to give them another chance. I am now hoping a call to Marriott will wake up the management team about the issues at this property.
The room was beautiful and looked as though it was recently updated. New carpet throughout the floor hallways. The pool looked very nice, we didn't use it though. The air conditioner was a little loud (the fan sounded like a UFO) but it wasn't loud enough to keep us up. I would definitely stay here again when visiting the Chambersburg area.

Enjoyable stay, small for a Marriott and not the cheapest due to a vendor change no breakfasts were available during my stay. Decent but generally most Marriott's I stay at wpould rank a 5.
This was our first time staying at this Fairfield Inn. The front desk staff was very helpful. However, everything else about this hotel seemed dated and worn out. The AC in our room barely worked. Before we reported this in the morning, we heard other guests report the same thing to the hotel staff, who didn't appear to care. The room itself appeared old. While the breakfast bar had a reasonable selection, there were a few items missing that we have grown accustomed to at other Fairfield Inns. Overall, we were not pleased with our stay at this hotel and cannot recommend it to others.
